Mr. Hayes has been providing business valuation services to SBA 7(a) lenders throughout the United States for 29 years; and completes hundreds of SBA 7(a) loan valuations every year.

Previously, Mr. Hayes was a senior member of one of the oldest independent business valuation firms in the United States, which was founded in 1946 and serves clients throughout the United States. He also served as head of the Tampa, Florida office of a national business valuation practice where he was in-charge of the Southeastern United States. Mr. Hayes was also the founder and owner of Hayes Valuations, LLC, where he completed hundreds of valuations for clients throughout the United States and internationally and built shareholder value for nearly 10 years before merging his business valuation/litigation support practice with another firm. He also served as senior manager of business valuation and litigation support for a Miami, Florida CPA firm with a 70+ year operating history, where he was in-charge of national and international business valuation projects.  Mr. Hayes is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, where he serves commercial lenders and banking clients throughout the United States.

Mr. Hayes holds a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in accounting and finance and a minor in economics from Jacksonville University of Jacksonville, Florida; an AACSB accredited business school founded in 1934.  Mr. Hayes is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and certified member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).  Worldwide, the CVA certification is held by only around 6,500 valuation professionals and the CVA certification has been accredited by the National Commission of Certifying Agencies (NCCA), the accreditation body of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE).  Mr. Hayes is a member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA), and the Chicago chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).  He is also a recognized Insurance Industry Valuation Expert designated by Business Brokerage Press, Inc. and a regular contributor to the Business Reference Guide: The Essential Guide to Pricing Businesses and Franchises.
